My Windows XP is pushed to the left?

I went on today an now my Windows XP computer is pushed to the side an there is now a large margin on the right of my screen.

Help?

    You don't say what size your monitor is as that affects the optimal resolution. I assume it's a TFT rather than an ancient CRT monitor......

    Go into display settings in the control panel and choose the default resolution for your monitor. for example 20" to 24" Full HD screens have a default resolution of 1920 x 1080. A widescreen 19" default is 1440 x 900. Older ans smaller 19" and 17" screens use 1024 x 768. I

    If it still doesn't look right then there may be a problem with your graphics adapter.

    Try right clicking on the screen, go to screen resolution, and make it 1280 x 780 or thereabuout, I have not got XP to try it as I am on Windows 8

    Press the "Auto" button on your monitor...

    OR go into the menu and look for auto and select it.
