The result is what you see around you today. Unconsitutional invasions into your freedoms and rights.
It is a bit of an irony though, because the federalists (conservatives) are responsbile for the formal overturning of the constitution (Mc Culloch v. Maryland) in the first place. Had they not had their own agenda, the progressive movement would have had no ability to push their agenda.
