STD Tests? Help!!!!!!!!!?
Ok I just went for an std test because my ex of 6 years (only guy i've been with) was a cheating **** head and I wanted to put my mind at rest.
I just wanted to know if it matters that I only had the blood test and the urine test.
I didnt want to be looked at physically so the doctor said it wasn't a "full" testing, but other than that, does the blood & urine test cover every disease?

Get a full exam. Those tests are not going to tell you, for example, if you have chlamydia - only a cervical swab can do that, or even gonorrhoea. Also pelvic inflammatory disease, which can destroy your ability to have children, and make you awfully damn sick to boot.
Get a full exam. Your blood tests will probably only give results for HIV and syphilis . A doctor has done all this and seen all this so many times it isn't going to matter to him or her - but it might matter a great deal to you .
Also PAP smear for cancer, and a check for venereal warts, which can lead to cervical cancer.

No, it doesn't. If I were you, I'd go get an across-the-board check.
I had an STI test a little over two weeks ago, including the penis swab and butt swab. It's uncomfortable, yes, but it puts you in piece of mind about the whole thing.
I know you're a girl, so the test will be different, but if you want to be as safe as possible, go get a full check done. It takes a little over five minutes, and is uncomfortable for about thirty seconds.
However, the choice is down to you. But if my partner cheated, I'd want to get a full exam done on me..

Blood and urine should cover it, to he safe get checked again in a few months as and STD may not become active for months or years after it's transmitted. Check every 3 months for a year..As long as you used protection you should be 99.9% safe. Hope this helps!

Yes, but there CAN be false results, both positive and negative.
The physical exam is a KEY part of a "full test". The doctor needs to SEE if your have any visible signs.

it covers most of them id say 95% there maybe 1 or 2 it doesnt as you would need a physical check but you would know if something was wrong anyway.

no it doesn't. You have to have a pap smear to check for most std's so get over it and let a doctor examine you. It only makes sense to do so.
