Get her a charm bracelet, a cool fashion doll set (ask her mom to find out if she ikes brats or barbies or whatever), or something interactive, like an mp3 player or a nice art or craft set if she's into that sort of stuff. Good luck! My little girl cousin is around this age too... this is the sort of stuff she likes, it's super hard to buy for them at this age!

Maybe a diary or a stuffed animal, perhaps? Maybe you could ask your brother or sister (whichever) what kind of cartoons she watches (they always put out toys for those).

Go shopping with her and see what she LIKES in your price range, then go back and buy it: If you think it may be sold before you get back, privately ask the clerk to set it aside and go back as soon as possible for it.

you can't go wrong with barbie! but last Christmas I got my niece some craft type stuff,like painting rocks and drawing,things like that and she loved it.
