I need just a kind of bookshelf with very simple design:

glass doors on the top (to put some figurines there),

middle should have 2-3 spacious book shelves to put my fav books on;

bottom should have solid doors to shove all ugly stuff like binders, old journals, etc.

I am searching for this for more than month - internet, furniture store - notheing is outthere like thatt.

One lady said you can find such stuff on US market.

Is it really so bad? No hope?

I'd like to buy used Toyota rav4, v6, 2007, 20,500 miles.

Originally owners asked $19,800. I think I already lowered price to $18,500 but I still think this is too expensive. However, looking at carmax.com and cars.com, similar cars cost $20,000 and more.

I'm quite frankly torn. I don't feel comfortable with $18,500.

Why these cars are so expensive? Are they worth it? Is $18,500 is a good price for such relatively young car in excellent condition?

I am having people in my house working on a project. I noticed that they don't eat or drink. I offered Diet Cola (just what I had) at the time. They were very grateful. It's not a problem for me to supply them with drinks at all, my question - is it a practice? I'm novice I don't want people to accept my drinks if it is not proper. If it's OK - I'll get them as many as they need.

I got very good cat diet feedback from this board and explored my options. I found that EVO and Wellness canned food is rather expensive (something $1.50+ for 5.5 OZ can). Wellness is of suboptimal bad texture - too pasty, they lick it but a lot sticks to the bottom and gets lost. EVO I didn't try yet.

Anyway, in my search I ran into Giant's generic cat food called "Companion" that cost less than $0.50 per 6 OZ can. Cats like it a lot and it hasnice chunkish texture. Ingredients of turkey stew: Meat broth, Chicken, Turkey, Liver, Wheat gluten, Potato starch, Red peppers, Carrots, Sunflower oil, Natural Flavor, Guar gum, Parsley, Ca carbonate, salt, sweet potatoes, sodium phosphate, K chloride, pea fiber, egg product, brewers dried yeast, spinach flakes, and then go an go including lpts of other organic (like cranberry meal and various vitamins) and inorganic (like minerals) components.

Analysis is crude protein (min. 10%, crude fat min 3%, crude fiber (max) 1.5%, ... taurine min. 0.08%

Question is: - is it an adequate food? Maybe it is less superb than EVO and Wellness but is it adequate? It cost 3 times (at least less) than leading brands and much more accessible.

Any warning bells?

This is the question to students (how you are taught) and teachers (how you teach). Are you taught or do you teach that these two kinds of mimicry as separate entities or as extreme cases of one continuum? What's your own opinion? I think it's latter but I would like to know current opinion in schools.

My old cat addicted to Friskies got diabetes after which I kept him on raw lean meat and schrimp and it helped to regulate his diabetes somewhat. I hear all the time that dry food is bad for cat although vet says that it's OK. Soft cat food is definitely bad for their teeth. I staretd giving my kittens canned chicken breast and salmon but they got diarrhea from that and now I'm giving them Science and they are fine. Still, I felt that I didn't analyze all variables of their diarrhea and will try to revert to human canned (all naturaL, lean and less expensive!!! than cat brands). I still would like to hear your opinion especially with specific examples of longevity and health. Thanks in advance!

I have to administer metronidazole to my 2 kittens and they are not happy. Looks like they forget bitter taste quickly but I need to go on another 4 days and am afraid that they'll hate me.

I have two kittens. Now they are learning their litter box with odorless litter and attractant (Dr,. Eisel? or something brand). It's very effective for learning but it does not do much about odor.

Later, I'd like to switch to litter with strong odor control and good clumping. So many brands.. I'm confused. Please share your expertise

I bought a coconut and inside is a liquid content which should be sterile. This coconut won't germinate because they shaved off its embryonic tissues and also sawed a groove (presumebly for us to cut it open) around the middle of the nut. How long I can keep a coconut w/o it's being spoiled and when spoiled, how it happens? Oxygenation of fats? What?
