How to draw xyz function by hand?
How does one actually draw a three variable function by hand, like a surface, when you have a function such as 4x-4y+2z = 4. Is there like a step by step way to do it? Or can it only be done with software?
I wish I could find a tutorial on this..

It is really hard to show this, because yahoo has no drawing program
but if you draw your ordinary two axes (x,y)
and then add a third one (depth)
you will have a room instead of a surface
if you know how to draw, say 2x + 4y = 0
then you only need to add the depth in your function when you have, say 2x + 4y + 3z = 0
but this won't make things more clear, only confusing
that's where linear algebra appears helpful
