The aftermath of the crisis?

the era of living on debt, the era of carpe diem has ended. we are currently experiencing the aftermath of carpe diem. what will the world and our society look like in the near future?

    Once balance sheets are deleveraged, the future will look rather like it always has, although I suspect that people will be (for awhile) a little more reluctant to use debt to finance expansion. Of course if governments continue to increase debt, then it will look like a long period of very slow growth.

    it will look much like it is today, only with a bit more discontent in the bottom 10%.
