How to get my ex-girlfriend back?

Question

I was with her for ten months. We were both each other's first boy/girlfriend, lost our virginity to each other, and shared amazing moments together. We're in a long-distance relationship now that she's in a college about three hours away.

It's only been a week and she breaks up with me last night saying things like:

"I want you to be happy with somebody else who you can see more often"
"I'm not sure if I love you anymore"
"I need some space"

I'm so hurt. I did not see this coming at all.

I know, it sounds like it's dead and over. But if she loved me before, she can love me again, right?

Please help! I really miss her and I don't wanna lose her.

We still remain friends, and we're really close, and I was planning on visiting her next week, and she said she'd still like it if I came.

Well something similar like this happened to me once. My girl left me for her ex, then I started hanging out with other girls and other girls had crushes on me and when she saw it, she became jealous and realized what she lost so she came running back. But I didnt want her back.

So this is what you do!!

1) stop contacting her!! And if she contacts you, dont always answer her back and if tou do answer back dont do it right away, give it some time before you write back and keep your answers SHORT and make it seem like you are not really interested in talking to her.

2)act like your life is going perfect without her. Take pics with other people and post them on your Facebook. It helps if u have pic with other girls

i'm sorry to say this but i think its definitely over. if she thought it at the time, she's probably still thinking it. my ex said those exact words to me and 4 months later, i'm still extremely hurt. i also didn't see it coming but it just makes me realize that there's other guys out there. better guys too. we're still young yet and have much to live for. i shared amazing moments with my ex including losing my virginity. i try to learn from those moments and move on because if he broke up with me without notice, who's to say he won't do it again? i feel as if he didn't really love me as much as i thought he did and didn't care enough about me. it just proves to show that he's a total dick and i'm too good for him. if your ex did this to you once, she'll do it again. i know it sucks and hurts but there's better girls out there.
