I can't find my computer?

It has been very frustrating finding my computer in Windows.

I believe I have windows 7, I don;t know how to tell? I grew up on mac and windows makes everything so darn difficult.

Right now I am tying to clear a cache

On the one other windows computer I was on I believe you could just click a "my computer" icon and a widow would pop up with a tree diagram on the left of all the files on your computer. You could click on an icon in the diagram to see the contents.

Once on this computer I somehow opened a window with an address bar at the top with something like:

"C:\Users\(User Name)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Recent Items"

I know how to navigate once I get a page like that.

How do I get to that window, page, file or folder etc.?

To find My computer in Window 7

In Windows 7 if you click on the Microsoft Logo (lower left in the taskbar, circle with flag) A new window will open.

Look for the word Computer in the right hand column. Right click on the Computer ICON and choose show on desktop. My computer will be on the desktop and you can click on it like any other Windows ICON or right click on it for a menu choice.

When you get the My computer icon double click it and a dual menu page opens on the left is the navigation menu. Click on computer to expand the menu

Click the flag on the bottom left and then on computer on the right, or press the flag on your keyboard and E at the same time
