I can definitely see your dilemma here. Both backs share handoffs (Thomas with Bush; Green-Ellis with Whitehead & Ridley). Both are projected to produce somewhere around 6 fantasy points. Both backs face a tough defense but NE does like to use Green-Ellis in goal line situations so he could possibly get a diving score. Oddly enough, Miami has owned San Diego the past decade (4-1) since 2001 and SD has allowed slightly more rushing yards than Miami. Daniel Thomas is Miami's leading rusher at the moment but it seems Coach Sparano is more intrigued by Bush's play so although Daniel Thomas is the more effective runner, Green-Ellis has the advantage in the TD stat column.

F#ck it, go wth Thomas. He shares less carries. Good luck!

The Patriots are more into passing than they are running right now, and the Raiders at Defense are not joke and coming off that big win against the Jets it was part of their game plan to stuff the run, which helped them win. I see them sticking to that plan against the Patriots no matter how wonderful Brady is at getting the ball to his many weapons. The Patriots also aren't afraid to abandon the run and tell Brady to light ppl up. The Chargers are on my "fraud" list bc they're infamous for slow starts and you never know with them. I would pick Thomas in this situation though his numbers aren't as great as Green-Ellis (which isn't saying much to begin with) Reggie Bush proved per usual that the whole "full game RB" isn't really in his cards. Thomas seems to be taking over rather quickly.

Source(s): I also have Green-Ellis and I struggled this week whether to start him as my #2. I have Turner as my #1 and Sproles as my flex. I decided to give it to Starks over him based on easier matchup. Answer mine plz? http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AqV2X...

Daniel Thomas is who I would start, BGE had 1 measly point last week. Play the hotter RB. Thomas is proving to be a consistent 10-14 point RB

Go with Thomas, he's the real #1 RB in Miami and NE has a stable of other backs, (woodhead, ridley) plus they are a pass-first offense.
