Bluetec owners: What is your real-world fuel economy?
Thinking of either an E sedan or an ML SUV in the future. I have both in gas versions now, but I'm wondering what kind of real-world fuel mileage I can expect. Thanks!!

I don't own one but I've driven several different BlueTEC vehicles both city and highway.
The difference between the ML, GL, and R-Class isn't that great but the E-Class sedan does better simply because it weighs less and is more aerodynamic compared to the SUV's (they all share the same basic 3.0L V6 diesel engine).
I've spent the most time with an R350 BlueTEC and driven conservatively on the highway, I could get approx.9.0 L/100 km which equals just over 26 US MPG. That's pretty impressive considering how big the R-Class is and the amount of torque the diesel creates.
