Anyone up for Obamacare (see video)?

- Universal healthcare is going to be necessary in the US, as it is elsewhere. Our system is broken and going bankrupt. The current system is adding to the deficit and costing taxpayers a ton of money. For some reason people just attack the idea of doing it on a national level, although they support medicaid, medicare, and social security. They're all part of the same animal, and we're not going to do well without it.

The video is just worthless. It takes pieces out and makes them sound bad. The proposal isn't perfect, not at all. But this is just cherry-picking to support the pharmaceutical industry, insurance companies and doctor lobbying groups who want to continue making tons of money off of all of us.

Yes, I do want to see national health care. We're the only industrialized nation without it, and our healthcare system is going broke. It's a bitter irony that the people who are being screwed the most, working people, are the ones who are often against this change. The video takes too many "facts" completely out of context.

I was against Hillary care years ago and so I'm definitely against Obama care and do hope we do repeal it quickly.
