The test might not be sensitive enough, get a first response or early indicator test they are better at detecting the HGC hormone (pregnancy hormone).

Non pregnant women have between 0-5 IU (international units) in their urine, a pregnancy can be detected from 10 IU, but most tests (normal not early ones) don't pick it up until 20+ IU.

I would wait a few days then go back and get a early indicator test (more expensive though!), if you're period was due today and it hasn't arrived you may have concieved but not too long ago, so it wont be coming up on a test.

Test first thing in the morning as there is most of the hormone present then.

    Hope this helps :)
