This is a Kohler ad that is supposed to channel "The Odd Couple" in a humorous way.

My wife likes it but I said its soooo gay but She doesn't think it is.

No it probably means that your a woman and a member of the target audience for the spot.
Cali at the beginning of the spot the guy is on the street with so much crap he can't carry it all. So by your definition does that now make him gay?

Like most guys he doesn't carry too much personal things, and gay dudes do.
But, he got 'the best stuff', and maybe to sale it and get good money for it...
