Do you think the old song 'Nice work if you can get it' should be Bob Crow's theme song ?
Now it looks like Crow is going to do a deal to get his drivers on the Tube £50,000 plus per annum really just on persuading them to do their job is it any wonder that this country is in the mess it is ?
nlv, yes I understand the no strike over the Olympics is a bonus on top of that. So much for Boris and his bullshit on running London Transport. Reminds me of Ethelred the Unready paying the Danes not to come raping and pillaging England
sheetwov, a lot of truth in what you say but unfortunately there will be plenty of 'sheep' ready to follow Crow just as miners who should have known better followed Scargill.

No, not really. I thought dinosaurs like Bob Crow were a thing of the past but here he is feathering his own nest to the tune of thousands and yet trying to be working class. "It won't work Bob", you own two properties when we are on the bread line!"
The miners leaders didn't really give a damn about their workers which is why thousands lost their jobs; the same will happen to rail workers if Bob Crow has anything to do with it. I consider myself working class but I have never come across a union leader who didn't put himself first. Most working class people can see through these idiots, we know there isn't the money that they want and we know if the leaders pursue it, it's us that will lose our jobs and pay, not them. I can see thousands of civil servants losing their jobs too, the way things are going.

Indeed it should when all other normal people pay is falling, It's nice to see it's not just the bankers who are taking the pxss.
Is the bribe not to strike during the olympics on top of the £50k?
