Am I not supposed to dream about her?

So, long story made short: I dated a girl for a while, we broke up, I still like her and I find it impossible not to wake up thinking of her, so I thought to myself: If I am always thinking about her, why did I NEVER have a dream in which she appears? (We've met about 6 months ago, a lot of thinking has occured :P)

Is it possible that I think so much in day time that my brain "shuts it off" while I am sleeping? But aren't dreams about desires and concerns?

Your brain doesn't shut it off. You can't really control your dreams..it sucks sometimes:P Like, I looove this one boy, but I can only recall having two dreams about him. Its weird how dreams work. But you probably should have one eventually, because dreams are basically just a big jumble of the thoughts you've had
