Can someone help me with the phonetic pronunciation of a sentence in Welsh and Scots Gaelic?

I have a project I am working on for a play, and we've been asked to create a character that speaks a line from our actual blood lineage. Since my ancestors were Welsh and Scottish, I am looking for both the Welsh and the Scots Gaelic. However, I will need the actual phonetic pronunciation so I don't sound like an idiot. I would like to find someone willing to help me and perhaps create a sound file to send to me via email, or even a recording on youtube. The sentence from the play is: "I am fierce and wild. I am a woman of power. I am a witch. Be blessed or cursed as you will!”

I really hope someone who knows Welsh and Scots Gaelic would be willing to help me. The play goes off at the end of October so I have one month to get the pronunciation as well as memorize it.

Thanks!

Update:

Edit: I have tried Google translate, and many different websites, but none can give me the actual phonetic pronunciation of this sentence as it SHOULD be spoken in true Scots Gaelic or Welsh. A direct translation via the internet is sketchy/questionable. The teacher wants to know I got this directly from an actual speaker of the language so that it is REAL. (Yeah she's hardcore)

My Scots ancestors are from a tiny island near the Isle of Mull. :)

Thanks again!

Go to Scottish and Welsh websites or Scottish and Welsh language videos. You can get an idea of the accents from that.

But....what part of Scotland are you from? That matters as far as pronunciation goes.

  • I have a friend who actually speaks Irish Gaelic on a daily basis, but no Scots. If you want to speak to her I might be able to help. Closest I can think of.
