Is my hair damaged? How to repair damaged hair?
I haven't cut my hair in a little over a year, back then when I used to wet my hair it would become soft afterward but now my hair just becomes dry and frizzy looking I noticed that I have a lot of split ends and I lose a lot of hair a day. Does my hair fall because it is damaged? How do I repair the damaged hair?

The longer the hair, the heavier it weighs and therefore the more falls out. Once your hair is damaged the only solution is to cut it. Don't go spending tons of money on products that promise to save damaged hair. It's all propaganda. Cut it and start taking some biotin. You'll notice your hair and nails will grow rather quickly. Good luck.

Please get it trimed. I learned it personally. If you don't cut off the fried and split ends the damage will just keep going higher and higher up the hair shaft. That means your hair will be more unmanageable and you might have to cut off more. There's no such thing as a product that will seal split ends or heal the fried ends. Theres only shampoo and conditioner that will try to prevent damage. Once you get the split ends you can't turn back. Please trim your hair once every 6-8weeks it depends on how damage your hair is. Use leave in conditioner 1-2 times a week so your hair can feel soft and it should last for the week. Use serum to give shine to your hair and get rid of the frizz. If your trying to grow out your hair but still trying to get healthy hair. I say quit all the damage you put in your hair. I used to straigten my hair everyday. Now I just wash my hair and blow dry it. (probably cuz I got a perm) but yeah I have noticed differences in my hair after I quit straightening my hair.
I hope this helps. Good luck

Use sulfate free shampoos since sulfates dry out your hair, use weekly hair masks with stuff like honey, olive oil, avocado, banana, eggs and even mayo helps. Look up the Pro Natural’s hair care line on the internet and get what you want from them, anything of theirs helps since argan oil is really really good for damaged hair. Oh and get regular trims, you want the new, healthy hair to grow out and replace the old damaged hair as quickly as possible.

I would suggest getting your hair lightly trimmed because of the split ends. If you wanna keep your length tell your stylist that. Now for it being damaged ask your stylist about keratin deep conditioning treatment. Your hair is Keratin, the keratin treatment will help moisturize it and restore anything that's damaged.

You NEED to get your hair trimmed if you want it to be healthy, at least every few months. Go to a salon and get your split ends cut off, ask if they have any deep conditioners to help the damage.
