What type of inflatable raft is good for fishing and whitewater rafting?
I live in northwest oregon and amd looking for a inflatable raft (10-14ft) that will work well for fishing in local rivers and lakes and for whitewater rafting in the local class 3/4 rapids (deschutes/ clackomas etc.) it should be manageable with 2 people but accommodate at least 4 maybe 6. I would like some thing that fits in the back of my Nissan Xterra. deflated, I don't have space for a trailer. The cargo area is about 3.5 X 3.5 feet.

Hard to beat Soar's inflatables for quality, performance and durability.

In fact, the Soar 14 sounds like it is exactly what you need and it's on sale now:
You might have to move up to the Soar 16 to handle 4 people, though. You are not going to find something that will accommodate 6 that will be manageable for just two, though. Unless you go with professional outfitter type rafts like those made by Aire or Vanguard:

But these cost twice what the Soar models cost. You'd be better off with two Soar 12 or 14's. ALways safer to do whitewater with two boats so one can help out when the other gets in trouble.
Any of these should fit in your vehicle when packed down.

Cagayan de Oro. Sorry I don't have any other details. But a lot of friends from the area keep talking about a great venue for whitewater rafting about one hour outside the city. I'm sure you can get some leads from any local travel agency.
