How does your baby sleep (tummy, back, or side)?

I always placed her on her back per all the books and doctors. However, she now rolls onto her side when she sleeps and if roll her to her back, she'll simply roll right back onto her side. She's 16wks. How does your baby like to sleep?

My son who is 3.5 if up down all around hanging halfway off his bed etc. He moves around like crazy in his sleep.

All you can do is put her down on her back. Both my kids started side and tummy sleeping as soon as they could roll. Your son sounds like my baby (she's one tomorrow-sniffle sniffle) she is all over the crib in different positions. My 3.5 year (okay 3.75 year old) usually falls asleep on his side or tummy.

I have to say, I love the tushie in the air legs tucked under position babies get into.

My 8 month old son is always placed on his back to sleep, but no matter how asleep he is soon as i put him down he rolls to his stomach and stays that way till morning.

My almost 4 month old is a back sleeper but there was a week long period where she slept on her side no matter what I did. She then went back to sleeping on her back and will sometimes side sleep now but mostly she's a back sleeper.

My doctor told me that if they do the movement on their own its ok to let them sleep however. But he said to always start them on their back
