How do I fix my unfiled income tax from prior years?
OK, so let me start out by saying, I am a knucklehead. I know already how stupid this is, but I am trying to fix it, and get things corrected. I know this is insanely dumb.
For the last 3 or 4 years (I'm not even sure which) I never filed for income tax. I'm actually pretty sure I didn't owe (or at least didn't owe prior to penalties) on any of the years. I just wasn't making much, so like an idiot I decided not to bother filing one year. The following year there was a questiion that asked for information from my prior year, so in the middle of filling it out, i said F*** it. (I know again, really stupid.)
I've not been contacted yet by the IRS or anything, but I want to get this straightened out before they do, and pay any penalties I might owe.
My question is, are there any resources, (online or by phone) where I can contact the IRS to find out which years I have not filed? I know I can pull all of my W2s from my employer, but I'm not even sure all of the years that I owe them for. Any links, advice or anything would be helpful.
Thanks for all of the great help below, all of your answers are very helpful.
I'll get this done right away to ensure you're time answering my question wasn't wasted. Many thanks to all who replied.

You don't fix. You do it just like you should have done it when you should have done it.

Clearly you can efile 2010.
Unless you can find a professional that uses Pro-Series (a brand of software), you will have to mail in 2009. All prior years must be on paper.
Note, if you haven't been contacted by the IRS, it's entirely possibly that you don't owe and they know it. If you are single, no kids, no credits, no deductions and didn't screw around with your W-4, there is probably a refund. For the IRS, a refund means no penalties or interest are owed. 2008-2010 are refunds that can still be issued. Unless you had an extention for 2007, no refund there.
As for what years to file, CALL the IRS and ask.

File the missing returns, starting with the oldest first. Tax year 2010 is still open for e-filing (for 10 more days at least) but all prior years must be filed on paper by mail. Get prior year forms and instructions here: http://www.irs.gov/app/picklist/list/priorFormPubl...
Any refunds from tax years 2007 or earlier are lost forever. Tax years 2008 - 2010 are still open for refund claims.
If the IRS thought that you owed from tax years 2009 or earlier they would most likely have been in touch by now. No news is generally good news on that account. There are no penalties for late filing as long as you don't owe.
You can request transcripts from the IRS using Form 4506-T http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506t.pdf . One tax year per form. Turnaround time is about 10 days by mail or you can get while-you-wait service at most local IRS offices. Bring 2 forms of ID and your Social Security Card.

With your W-2 forms in hand go to IRS.GOV and order or download the necessary tax forms and instructions for each year you are unfiled. You can obtain state tax forms and instructions from the state's dept of revenue. Or, if you aren't well grounded in math and taxes you can always contact a licensed & registered tax preparer to get them all put together for you. I have done tax work for 40 years and can tell you it is not that unusual for people to be in your situation; last month I did a ten year backlog for an individual and said individual is now current with both the IRS and state. What is unsettling is that you forfeit refunds after three years; the person I got caught up forfeited seven years of tax refunds but that is life.

If you didn't owe anything, there won't be penalties. If you would have had a refund in 2007 or before, it's too late to get it, but you still can get any refunds for 2008 or later.
Gather up your paperwork from those years, and get them filed.
You can call the IRS and ask what years aren't filed. Noplace online to get the info.

you can't fix something than never happened, the first thing you do is file those returns
if you didn't 'make' much, it is very possible you wouldn't have needed to file but to give you some assistance you can request transcripts which are free for information IRS has about your income, use form 4506 T to request them
you can request four years on each form, if you need more use another 4506 T
