Think i have breast cancer?! :(?

For a couple of months now i have had pain in my left breast and underarm. I went to the doctor today and she felt around and i asked if she felt anything and she said no, she told me because i'm only 23 years old that the breast tissue is dense so going for a ultrasound is better. When i went home i looked at the form that i need to take to the ultrasound place and it says on the clinical indication bit, lump upper outer quadrant. So now i'm really worried and wondering why she didn't tell me. I'm overweight and unhealthy to start with ( being honest) and i have large breasts. So I guess with that information i'm wondering what some other ladies have to say, i'm so worried i keep crying. Please NO rude comments.

My Girlfriend had a similar thing. They call it a lump but it is likely to be just the densest tissue or where she thinks the pain is coming from. Its just a way of asking the people doing the ultrasound to focus on that section. A doctor is bound by oath to tell you the truth so she wouldn't of felt a lump and not told you. She would loose her license to practice medicine. Don't worry about it, It is likely to be nothing.

In high risk females, 80% of breast lumps requiring investigation turn out to be benign.

You are not a high risk female, you are low risk at your age and so the odds of this being something other than cancer are even better.

Breast cancer is rarely tender or painful and this is much more likely to be either an infection or cyst than cancer.

If you have gone to see the Doctor, what other information can you need?

There was this Doctor- Jeanne Achterberg, who was told that she had Cancer of the Eyeball, and was going to die in a few months. But they could stretch it out if they cut her eye out.

She was like (*Bleep!*) that! She went and found another way, and beat the Cancer.

However, no one will tell you, that if you fast to the limit of your body's fat reserves (this takes some six weeks for a person of normal weight,) your body will starve then consume and replace any cancerous tissue on its own, without further treatment.
