Is it the duty and obligation for the Christian husband to support his wife financially?

Yes it does. The husband is supposed to love the wife the same way Christ loves the church. Christ gave up his life for the church, so man is supposed to sacrifice for his family. Also, Adam was told to work hard for his family, and that was the first marriage.

Who cares ? In a time of equal pay for the sexes, and when one income often isn't enough, wives have as much of a duty to support the family as do husbands.
