What if you won the Lotto?
People have been asking one another this question for a long time... "What would you do if you won the Lotto?" Seems to me some things people would do would be the obvious - jump up and down and yell, "Oh My God!", call somebody and tell them (bad idea)... and maybe go change their pants.
I'd like to pose the question this way, "If you won the Lotto, what would your plans be in utilizing it?"
Since I can't go out in the world, I think I'd like to hire a chef to come in and prepare my meals (yum!).
Maybe I'll go place a notepad and pen by the bed - always thinking about cooking anyway.
Thanks, and I'm looking forward to seeing your answers.

I would give about 90% of it to charity. Mostly because, at the age of 18, I don't think I could responsibly handle that much money. Also because it would be hard to make good friends as a multi-millionaire at university. 9% of it would go straight into the bank, and if I won a $1,000,000 jackpot, that's $90,000, a pretty good amount for an 18 year old. Most of the other $10,000 would go towards my first year university fees, and anything left over would be mine to spend on whatever I wanted at that time. Probably a new computer.
Pretty much, I don't want something like that to change my life too much. I come from a nice, reasonably rich family, and live in an awesome country (New Zealand), so I'm probably going to lead a good life anyway. Winning the Lotto would almost be a disappointment to me.

sure and no: (sure successful with three or four numbers) and (no I've under no circumstances hit the jackpot). I have written a GUI program in WxPython which generates random numbers (very similar to that of "fast decide on"), it certain introduced me extra successful than having to make up my possess numbers from my head.

The way you ask this question, it's as if you believe that YOU are the only one who has ever asked this question in this manner.
The truth is that this question (with your intent) is asked practically every day. It only encourages people to waste their money on lottery tickets.
What would I do? I'd pay off the Yahoo! Answers folks so they would NEVER allow this question again.

Buy a private island. I'd live on one side of the island and start a top notch resort on the other side to keep money coming in.

I'd give a share for my loved one. With my share I would invest in real estate. Sure, after I come back from my amazing Caribbean holiday :)
