As a Yankee fan, I don't really care. All that I care about is him coming through more often, especially in the playoffs when the team needs him the most. 2-18 against the Tigers really isn't cutting it and Girardi is such an @$$hole for not playing Chavez instead of A-Rod.

Arod had a rough year and he isnt that great in playoffs, but this year, he didnt do that great on the regular season. He's had so many injuries this season nd thats mostly why he wasnt doing good. People cant blame him for the loss. There were all the other players that were in perfect condition this year that didnt hit nothing in the ALDS. Soo i believe that arod will do much better next year and i hope he doesnt get hurt anymore.

22 HR he passes Griffey of course will sit between Griffey and Mays. It be another poor showing the lack of roids in his system is making injuries out of mole hills. Look at Griffey look at Mo Vaughn. Best ever laugh. Bonds better (more feared) Pujols better. those are modern players go back and add in Ruth, Gehrig,Wagner,Cobb etc. A-roid great but not top 10.

I predict ARod will hit 28 home runs, giving him 657 for his career. So, he'll pass Ken Griffey, Jr (in fact, he's only one behind him now), but won't pass Willie Mays (660).

i think he will have a breakout year possibly an mvp season.arod has been one of the most skilled baseball players of our generation and has been for a long time now his numbers are crazy good! he has 2836 hits on his way to 3000 630 hmrs on his way to 700 and like top ten in rbis heading towards top 3 and to go along with 3 mvps WOW! and hes not even near retiring yet thats crazy and although hes not considered a very clutch hitter he did prove him self in 09 when he carried the team to the world series.when arods career is over i think he just might be one of the greatest baseball players ever.
