Do older people enjoy Saturday Night Live?
I think this show has changed to appeal to the youngsters, and it is not funny now like it was in the 1970s and 1980s.
It seems they lost their old audience to MAD tv (back when MAD tv used to be funny)
They had to evolve into a new show and create something to please the youngsters.
my other theory is the show just sux and nobody enjoys it.
Does anyone think any of the shows from the past few years are funny?

I watched SNL from it's inception. It was cutting edge, funny, controversial, and naughty. The cast was talented and creative. I couldn't wait for the next episode. But something happened. It all changed; not so edgy but just plain dumb except for a few skits. It can come back since the cast changes and evolves constantly. I am 66 years old.

I remember my grandmother watching it when I was younger and I thought it was stupid. Not until the last 10 years or so have I been able to watch it. There have been some stand-out skits from year to year but even the past few years are hit or miss.

now must be THE TIME ON SPROKETS while we DANCE!!! oh my gosh that line is hysterical!!! ha ha! I additionally love the cowbell comedian strip. i admire all of the action picture star jeopardy stuff. i admire the entire prepare lol. it somewhat is been going downhill however. and now amy poehlers leaving. yet yeah, sprokets easily. r u staring at E! cuz the countdown is on precise now...
