New Zealand day
Why should we remember a treaty that has been neglected, and abused?

New Zealand Day. Waitangi Day meas nothing to me. ANZAC Day had more meaning to me being a New Zealander.

no longer something. I never watch the information on Waitangi Day (and that i'm an avid information watcher) as i will't be afflicted with each and all of the crap that is going on ie. disputes, matters, or perhaps the mutual butt sniffing with the help of different facets. i in my opinion sense there is extra unfavorable thoughts in direction of Waitangi Day than valuable ones. that is merely yet another day off for me.

There has been the idea mooted that Waitangi Day stays as it is, but another day becomes NZ Day. Preferably between Queen's Birthday and Labour Weekend, as there's nothing to bridge the long gap.

Waitangi day. Why should we change a tradition that is not giving us any problems? And also, it was the day the treaty of waitangi was signed -it's only logical to call it waitangi day

I couldn't careless, call it what you like, it's always poisoned with protests and Bullsh!t anyway. To me it's up there with the Queens birthday....just a day off
I agree with HP and mareeclara, ANZAC means more to me
- mareeclaraLv 710 years ago
I too agree, I do not feel any special significance for this day, in fact in the past all it meant to me was protests and disharmony so I began to dread it, not its just a day off. I feel more for ANZAC Day than any other.
