I have serious problem and I need advice?

I have had a sore throat and ear ache for over a year and now

My gum at my very back molar is inflamed alittle. I was feeling around in there and at the very far back of the end of the gum I mean all the way at the very back behind where your wisdom teeth would be is so sore when I touch it. I have been to an ENT 3 times with a Ct scan and scopes and they have found nothing. I never had any wisdom teeth and xrays show that i never did develop them either. I have noticed my lymph nodes have become swollen in the last few days on the same side of my neck and behind my ear. So my question is can a bad tooth cause all of this? I went to the dentist who said he didn't think it was my tooth either. I started myself on some antibiotics that I had to see if it helps. Any advice would be great. I am at a stand still as to what is causing all of this.

How strange that 3 ENT visits, CT scan and scoping and a dentist cannot diagnose your problem! But pain is never normal, and the lymph nodes being swollen indicate something is wrong. Is this pain and earache intermittent, or constant over the past year? Have the antibiotics helped? There have been several similar questions of shorter duration than a year in this category, most of which think there is food residue under the gum line, but over a year's time that should have come out one way or another, unless it is repeatedly happening (hence the intermittent question). Maybe see another specialist, this time an oral surgeon. Your insurance should cover it as now it is a medical problem with the swollen lymph nodes. If the CT scan was early on, it could be different now, so might need repeating.
