How can I put a scope on a swedish mauser Mod. 38 6.5x55mm, without damaging the gun?
I see a mount for mauser 98's that attaches to the rear sight, does any one make a similar mount for the Swede? The mount uses a pistol scope with long eye relief.

The Country Shed and Optics Planet stock scout scope mounts (that's the one that takes a LER scope) for the Model 96 Mauser. It mounts on the rear sight base; so it should be compatible with the model 38.

You could but I wouldn't recommend it trust neon the future you WILL regret it
