Severe weight gain or loss could mean that a young woman would start a little later than most. But having a little meat your bones is not the case. The vaginal discharge you're experiencing is quite normal. Your body is definitely getting ready for your first period. Woman experience a little more vaginal discharge when she is ovalulating to lubricate the vaginal walls and to let her know that her body is ready to conceive. If it's been a year already, then you are more than likely on the brink of starting your period:).

Have a pad waiting only in case (if no longer your college receptionist or nurse could have some for emergencies) Discharge is standard a pair of three hundred and sixty 5 days to 18 months formerly, you have have been given a great number of time yet, i'm guessing you're 12 and the majority commence around 12/13 so because it extremely is excellent. Your mum will probable be relieved which you have faith her sufficient and are sensible sufficient to ask her to furnish you a pair of pads so which you're waiting

No it doesn't mean you'll definitely start your period. There are several factors that can affect your cycles. For 1 if you are very thin and athletic then you won't start until you put a little body fat on you. Or if you are obese that will cause menstrual problems as well. It's best to talk to your dr about it and see what they think
No, being a little chubby isn't the same as being obese. You can't make your period come. If you're worried then talk to your dr.

It is normal, some girls get it as late as 21 but that is rare. If you are very worried, see a doctor, but there is no rush. Your period may come anytime but I experienced a change in discharge colour, a slight brown/yellow colour.
If you really feel worried, talk to your Mum and get supplies. If discharge worries you a bit, where pantyliners and pads regulary. Then you will get used to it too. Maybe also practise using a tampon, but don't leave it in when you don't have your period because you can get infections.
