Native american questions?

1. Do the Native American artifacts have any meaning? Do you think it´s good or bad to protect them? Why or why not?

2. Should Native american lands be preserved? Why are people defending or attacking it? Do you think the lands should be protected? Why or why not?

Thank you.

P.S.: You don´t have to respond to both questions but it would be really helpful if you could so yeah .

Update:

By the way. When I mean Native Americans i mean the ones who crossed from Siberia to Alaska. You know, when they crossed the landbridge. Beringia theory, remember?

First off, lets start by stating that schools with a high educational standard, are no longer teaching the Beringia theory, as anthropologists, geneticists and other various people from the scientific community are no longer accepting that as a valid theory. We do not share any more genetic markers with ancient/modern Asians than we do say.....Egyptians, Norwegians or Italians. That theory was only widely accepted before 1980 and most places have taken it out of texts altogether.

    AS for your actual questions:

    1. Of course they have meaning.......to us. Maybe not to you. We fight to protect them all the time.

    2. Once again, of course they should. Would it be acceptable if I were to bulldoze a Catholic cemetery, so I could build a strip mall? No? Then why is it acceptable to destroy our burial grounds. As for our lands, of course they need protecting.....from the government, from big corporations, from contractors, from mining companies. These are the only lands we have left.......and now you want more of them?
