how can i find out if my friend is gay?

haha. so I am gay, and I hadn't come out to my best friend yet, and I had the sneaking suspicion that he was gay as well.. so my brilliant idea of coming out to him was to take him to a gay club without telling him where we were going. lol.. it didn't work out like I expected. apparently he wasn't gay. lol.. He was a trooper though, was totally fine with my being gay, and was really supportive.. he stayed at the club for like an hour.. just kept following me around though and didn't get a single drink. lol.. I think the tipping point for him was that he got hit on by one of the drag queens there and it freaked him out. he's never been back there with me. lol.. but he will go to the occasional gay bar with me.. it just takes a lot of convincing. lol.. so i realize that you can't exactly do that, and I wouldn't suggest it. haha, but I would just take a chance and maybe come out to him.. he will probably be really supportive.. people have a way of surprising u.

If he's your friend he will come out and let you know, but I wouldn't push the issue.. I would just enjoy the friendship that you have right now..

Ask him. (seriously)

Or follow and spy on him everywhere in case he has a secret boyfriend or something.

I don't recommend doing the second one, but whatever...
