Can someone else use my checks?
My friend had ordered a checkbook for his account and it was sent to the address of his old residence, and the address on the checks are of the old address. We just found out that the checkbook arrived there and has been at that address for 10 days.
Could they open the box and use the checks for their own use? Like basically write out checks and practically steal from our account?

Well they can but if the bank that he went to and that person is to then they can see that its not right on the signture. But what ill do right now is call the bank and ask to close that account and open a new one since someone else as a hold of the check book

go to the old address and pick up the incorrectly addressed checks. return the checks to the printer with the corrected address.
