Christians, are you happy all the time with joy unspeakable full of glory?

Why or why not?

Update:

So sad that there are so few Christians that believe God's promises.

Happiness and joy are not the same thing.

Happiness relates to a happening and is of short duration.

    Joy comes from inside.

I believe in the Promises of God, it is by them (by claiming them ) that we will be faithful unto death, and make our calling and election sure and be given an abundant entrance into heaven.

Jesus was not happy and smiling all the time, so why do you think we who are imperfect and fallen will be able to do it, and that it is even proper.

Was Jesus happy when he threw out the money changers? Was Jesus happy when he found out that it was Judas (his own familiar friend in whom he trusted) was the one to betray him? Was Jesus happy in the Garden of Gethsemane? Was Jesus happy when time after time his disciples argued about who was going to be the greatest?

Jesus completely trusted in God and he was perfect, yet there were times when the seriousness of the situation clouded over happiness and his inner joy.

As imperfect Christians we all lose sight of the goal from time to time and need the Lord to put us back on track, even if it is but for a moment. That doesn't mean we don't believe in the promises of God. The problem is that we must immerse ourselves in them to ward off the darts of the adversary, it doesn't mean he isn't going to shoot them and that none are going to get through.

No, but I can stop and praise God, and I do often throughout the day. If I was winning a big victory like losing a lot of weight, or winning people to Christ, I'd have joy unspeakable, but just abiding in Christ is a place of gladness.
