I'm doing work experience (year 10, English schools). Could I do work experience at another secondary school?

I REALLY want to do something drama related. I looked at ALL the theatres in my CITY, and I mean ALL of them, and none of them had placements, so I've come up with three solutions:

1) My drama group

2) With a woman I know who is a director at an independant theatre company

3) At a secondary school drama department.

That's where you guys come in. Would I (by law) be allowed to do work experience at another school? Or are there restrictions against it? Any ideas what I'd be doing, either? I think it would be a bit weird if I ended up teaching people my age, but I'd get over it. But would I be allowed to? Do you think it's a good idea? Thanks :) x

I know that in my local area even if pupils want to teach high school age they are sent for work experience in a primary school. You would not be teaching any pupils regardless of their age but watching the teacher doing so. Most primaries get drama now from visiting specialists and your own school can arrange a placement.
