Do you guys think that.... 10 pts. for best answer!?

Question

So, I'm starting to save up money but my mom says that whatever money I get I have to put in a bottle (its a big gallon so it has tons of room. but not the HUGE blue ones). But me and my friends are going shopping in July because my friend is in Spain right now and we are gonna go when she comes back. Do you think its a good idea for whatever money I get I split it in half and put half of it in the bottle and half of it for myself as spending money? Thanks so much!

It's a very wise choice to split it in half. It's a smart saving habitat to start.

that sounds like a good idea, but it all really depends on how much you saved up. you want to go to a great country like spain and have a budget. you wanna get wasted every night and go to the clubs in spain and have wild one night stands. so if you have enough money to have fun then do it !

umm...way to start off the question. lol

anyways, do whatever you want with it. its your money and you should do what makes you happiest. personally, i would spend about 1/2 of it on whatever i wanted and then save the rest for something important :] (like you said)

yea put half in the bottle and keep the other half

also put coins you get as change in there put more coins 
ask for them from your friends
