There are SO many careers in the music industry. Though, I was in the same shoes as you. I wanted to major in music but needed a practical way to do so. So, I'm majoring in Music Management. Most schools require a minor or double major in music performance as part of your major anyway. Some good schools for this would be Berklee, Northeastern, USC, NYU or The Hartt School.
