And for all the "Darwinist" illiterates, here's a formal definition: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/Darwinist

That was pretty darn common in those days.
I bet some bible characters married their relatives...

I'm not a Darwinist, but yes. Most people know that Charles Darwin married his cousin. I'm not aware of your motives for asking the question, but just for kicks, here are a few more people who either married or had otherwise intimate relationships with cousins.
Mary Queen of Scots
John Adams
Johann Sebastian Bach
Albert Einstein
Rudy Giuliani
Jerry Lee Lewis
Thomas Jefferson
Edgar Allen Poe
H.G. Wells
Franklin D. Roosevelt
Jesse James

There's no such thing as a "Darwinist".
And yes, I do know that Charles Darwin married his cousin. This is not an uncommon thing, she wasn't his 1st cousin so genetically speaking, it doesn't matter.
The taboo about "Cousins" matters if you're 1st cousin or closer because then you have an increased risk of Genetic Disease should the marriage result in offspring. The risks of such disorders is greatly exaggerated... Which is why it has been so common a thing in history.
Egyptian Royalty.
Spanish Royalty.
British Royalty.
Dutch Royalty.
So... What is your point, exactly?

The fact that you are just becoming aware of this is really sad.
P.S. The Human Species is very inter-related. MANY people end up sharing ancestors.

Yes, I did know that, and I know and Charlie blamed himself for his daughter's death because he married his cousin.
And his wife was also a devout Christian who loved dog breeding.
What I don't understand is what your point is. His ideas stand or fall on its own merits no matter how inbred his kids were.

It is also surmised his ill heath was do to a habit of inbreeding in his family. I accept the theory of evolution, which he was not the first to come up with. . Look up Jean-Baptiste Lamarck (1744-1829).

a) There's no such thing as a 'Darwinist.'
b) I'm not sure what point you're trying to make.

I'm an Atheist, not a Darwinist.
Cain and his wife, Abraham and Sara, Nachor and Melcha, Lot and his daughters, Amram and Jochabed, and Amnon and Thamar has incestuous relationships? All in the bible?
The bible says we all come from Adam and Eve, which means we are all inbred. Yet the bible still condemns incest.

Oh, I see. Well, if he did something we culturally disapprove of, that obviously refutes 150 years of evidence for evolution. I guess the specific god you believe in is responsible, after all.
