North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota are all States in the United States of America not provinces in Canada. The subdivisions of states in the US are called counties. There are way more than 10 counties in those three states.

North and South Dakota and Minnesota are American states. They are in the USA, not in Canada. The ten provinces and three territories of Canada have nothing to do with the Dakotas or Minnesota.

I suggest you call someone in your class & get the proper question. Those are American States and do not contain provinces so the question makes no sense.
