How can I convince my parents to let me get call of duty black ops?

It all depends on how responsible/mature the child is. If they are behaving violent and are bullying people then this would not be a good thing to have, but for a responsible person then it would be okay to play. Don't listen to all the people saying that it is rubbish; it has it's problems, just like any other game but overall is a great game.

Introduce them to a rated M game like Metal Gear Solid 4, which is a very good lesson on the military industrial complex, and the creator is very anti-war. Let them read up on it. I don't know how old you are, but there are lots of great games that aren't rated M. Skyward Sword, Wind Waker, Metroid, Brawl, Uncharted and the like.

Relax, it isn't a very fun game anyway, and while I feel for you, since I went through the same thing, there are plenty of things you can do until then. Wait until you are 17 to bother her too much.

It might help to find some studies that prove there is no link between games and violence.

Call of duty black ops is a awesome game the story last about 2-3 days if you good at the game 1-2 days final the first strike add on is pretty cool escalation is cool to annalation is okay my favortite is rezzuruction is the best with all zombie world at war maps and the all new moon moon is awesome you start out on earth in a militery base Theres a teleporter to go to space you get a space suit low gravity so when you kill a zombie they float away Pros-good game fun solo zombies cool guns Cons-lame multiplayer 2 hits in zombies and you die bad reload time if your a call of duty fan try renting it first if your not a call of duty fan dont get it get halo if you dont like call of duty.

This is what you do:

1) Make sure she is happy

2) When she is happy, in a very calm and orderly way, tell her that you are not killing people, You are killing computerized bots.

3) Tell her that when you are killing in this game, you are doing it for the self defense of your soldier dude.

4) If she still doesn't agree, show her how much fun quick scoping can be. Show her a video.

5) Show her a video of how u have to calculate the distance before u throw a grenade.

6) Knifing people improves your reacting skills in real life.

7) Just tell her you r playing this for FUN.

Tell your mom it's just a video game and it's based on an actual war in real life and it is an entertaining it's not like your going out and killing real people..

I think you should listen to your parents; how old are you anyway? The game contains a lot of violence and gore and I personally wouldn't recommend it for children.

beg her until she gets frustrated and buys it for you or make a compromise or deal with her like say you'll get all a's and shell buy it for you or something it depends on how your mom works. and dont feel sad my mom wont let me get it either

tell them that u can turn off the violence when u set up the settings. im sure that they will let u get it.
