Has anyone used Promeris for demodex mange?
My GSD 5 month old seems to have red aka demodex mange,
it was suggested by a rescue group to use Promeris

Get a proper diagnoses from the vet. or you may be doing more harm than good. It may be allergies or sarcoptic mange. All including demodex mange are treated differently and only a skin scraping can tell you which mange it is.

It says it's strictly for fleas/ticks, not mites. There is another medication, I can't remember the name that also works on feas/ticks, that works for mites.
That being said, GO TO YOUR VET to have a skin scraping done to determine what it is. Don't try to diagnose and treat this yourself, you don't even know your dog has this.
Ivertmectin is best used to treat mange. IF that's what a dog has.
