Thank you for considering my questions to these two legends!

Eddie: Coming to America is one of your truly finest outings alongside Trading Places; however I have wanted to know why people found it hard to understand the cool Jewish Guy's jokes/statements and the African student's mannerisms; some of my best friends are african and the mannerisms are spot on! As is the Jewish guy! Do some people forget the coolest Afro/Jewish guy ever was Sammy Davis Jr? Did you get any inspiration from him?

Ben: I found one of your movies really eye opening The Heartbreak Kid - very realistic guy - met people like that before; gee, makes my toes curl - loved Meet the Fockers, bumped into Dustin Hoffman once in London literally in Oxford St, nr Hyde Park many moons ago, he still looks so young! Is Mr De Niro scary/cool to work with? Night at The Museum 1 great - although felt a little sheepish when my family and I visited the museum in NY looking for some of the stars of the movie, only to be told Hollywood fakers by one of the staff never mind a least my 2.5 year daughter old saw the dinosaur and was still scared lol.

    Best Wishes

    Fei Ai Li

Hope you both get some good bunce and success from the movie Tower Heist, and hope it doesn't turn into a Towering Inferno

Most professional comedians say that their comedy is borne of some pain from their early years...that their humour and wit developed to hide the pain.

To Ben: You grew up in a wealthy, much-loved, famous family. Where's the pain in that?

To Eddie: Your hard life growing up has long been a part of your routine. How hard was it for you to live through that life, and stay on the straight-and-narrow? Were you a funny little kid, or did the comedy come later?

Hi Ben and Eddie, I really love your films. I was just wondering what your favourite film is that each of you starred in. Personally mine are:

Ben: Zoo lander and There's Something About Mary.

Eddie: Beverly Hills Cop and Trading Places.

PS. Thank you for all the laughs you provided my house

Eddie Murphy - You were on top form in the 80s with films like 48 Hours,Another 48 Hours, Trading Places, Coming to America Beverly Hills Cop 1 and 2. Why did you soil such a great filmography with tonnes of trash films? Come on pal what were you playing at? Really? I watched the trailer for this Tower Heist and it looks like you are going to redeem yourself, you act like old skool Eddie Murphy in this and that's the Eddie Murphy we fans want to see more of.

Ben: This one looks kind of funny, how have you managed to stay in the industry with all the less than inspiring movies that you make.

Eddie: How come you're so inconsisnent. One movie is brilliant then the next two or three are pathetic, At least ben manages to be consistent in his choice of bad movies.

I will ask both of them what they were like in their teenage years and what inspired them about comedy?

I will be good to know if they just come across as natural comedians with a unique sense of humour or do they also sit endless hours preparing scripts, etc.? I personally think they are naturals

PS YAHOO STAFF: I actually went through some of the other answers which are pretty good, but many of them have low ratings, does it mean people just select the low rating to boost their own?

Source(s): I'm just an eager comedy fan.
