Is the new television show Pan Am going to be canceled?

There is no definite answer at this time, but brace yourself for impact. The ratings for Pan Am are dropping each week, and these days networks have a plethora of shows to choose from as a replacement.

It makes me sad to think Pan Am might not make it past May, because I think the show has some great potential. :(

I doubt that Pan Am will be canceled. ABC has all but anointed Pan Am as the successor to Desperate Housewives (which is in its last season), so I don't think that Pan Am will be canceled unless the viewing numbers totally tank. They've declined from the pilot episode's numbers, but hanging a "tanked" tag on the series would be premature at this point.

The rumors you've heard may have gotten Pan Am mixed up with The Playboy Club, a new show which has already been canceled.

It's looking likely. The ratings have dropped with every episode, and it's now ABC's second-lowest rated scripted show. The worst rated is Charlie's Angels, which has been canceled.

Maybe, maybe not. ABC hasn't mentioned anything about it being canceled or about it getting picked up for a full season. The ratings have been declining for it though.

They better give it 1 mo season to build an audiance. ABC haves alot of $ on dis baby.
