Stretching my ears? Should I start at 16g or 14g?
I've had a normal piercing for about two years now.I know that I should use a titanium/steel taper to stretch my ears, and that tapers aren't jewlery, but is it ok If I wear acrylics after a couple of weeks?

it is okay to wear acrylics but if you can get a better quality material, you probably should. Acrylic can really upset some peoples ears and make them swell and sore.
Wood or metal are the best materials!
good luck!

Well, i stretched my left lobe starting on 5mm, which i think is around a 4g, which was a little stupid, but I don't have much patience, haha. Start on a 16g I'd say, as it's a much more comfortable experience. Blow-outs are not nice, and can be easily avoided by stretching slowly.

You should probably start at 18g or your ears might rip/bleed. It won't kill you to start with acrylics. Good luck
