Why is obama campaigning around the country instead of working with congress hands on?
Seriously, why isnt Obama trying to work with republicans--how can they work with him when HE IS NO WHERE TO BE FOUND?

Because he has no intention of getting any type of "jobs bill" passed. He wants something he can blame republicans for, as evidence the fact that he went on the blame tour before they even had the chance to shoot it down.
STILL no Democrat has introduced it in the House. It calls for HUGE tax increases, and no-one, Democrat Or Republican wants their name attached to it in an election cycle.
As a Tax and Spend Bill, it MUST originate in the House anyway. The Senate has no business even discussing it until the House passes it. (unless the constitution does not matter)

The GOP plan is not to come to an agreement, but rather stifle progress to such stagnancy that they appear more favorable in the 2012 election.
Obama I think has given up on traditional means of achieving his objectives. Honestly I think he's probably about 10 steps ahead of everybody else and I wouldn't doubt his abilities.
I don't think Congress is 'itself' meaning, it's just a mish-mash of compromised insurgencies, all trying to maneuver into a position of power. That being the case, passing the jobs the bill is not to anyone's interest other than Obama and U.S. citizens.
The entire system is on the verge of collapse because of the internet and availability of information. It was inevitable, but it is important that the collapse and reconstruction be properly managed.
The Republicans have no understanding of the role of technology in the economy - and their desire to continue 'expanding' business is the equivalent of a cyanide capsule for the U.S.
Obama's policy of isolationism is absolutely essential. American businesses are outsourcing their entire workforces to India for next to nothing. Yet they still operate and enjoy the benefits of U.S. customers, U.S. tax breaks, U.S. laws and U.S. prices.
The Republican policy would result in eventually no jobs at all in America, and a 100% outsourced workforce making a small percentage of 'Americans' insanely rich.
What the GOP does not understand is how quickly this is happening in the rapidly growing tech-industry. Either that, or they don't care about the consequences or think that some magic force will hold everything together.
The only thing that can be done is to tax companies which outsource so heavily that they have no choice but to bring jobs back home.
Also, what must be done is to revoke the citizenship of corporations which are 'fake' American companies, based here, but profiting from exploitation of foreign countries.
And lastly, unfortunate as it may be, websites which facilitate exploitative labor, such as "freelancer.com" where you can get an entire website designed for $100 by somebody in India need to be blocked out from the U.S. This kind of thing helps nobody other than cheap, exploitative people run cheap exploitative businesses in America.

You think Republicans want to work with him and they're just sitting around Washington hoping he'll come back?
Where have you been the last three years?

obongo has no concept of working with others. This was obvious even before he ran for President.
