What can I buy in China?
I am going to China in a few days. I will be visiting Kunshan, Shanghai and possibly Suzhou and i was wondering if I could buy anything unique or cheap from there.
For example, are electronic goods cheap to buy there? As far as I know most of them are made there. If they are cheap where exactly do I get them from?
Also I heard that silk is cheap to buy there. Where in those cities can i get it?
Are there any other goods that are cheap or unique that I can buy there?
Thanks very much

Buy stylish and well-made (if you can find it) clothes, e.g. a tailored silk shirt or suit. They are reasonably priced, easy to pack, and will be a good remembrance of your trip for years to come.
Sure you can buy electronics or DVDs or "artsy" things... but you cannot trust the authenticity of any of them unless you are knowledgeable in those areas. The Chinese are very good at making counterfeits of darned near everything, and attempt to sell them to foreigners at much higher prices than they would be marketable at anywhere else.
