Help with differentiating?
f(x)=3- x^2/4 + ln(x/2)
should i differentiate each term or is there a rule Ive forgotten? Also what should i do with the 3 do i just discount it as it differentiates to 0?

You must differentiate the each term of the function.
3 is a constant so it's derivative is 0.
So, if f'(x) is the derivative of f(x), then
f'(x) = 0 -1/[2*(x^(1/2))] + 1/x = -1/[2*(x^(1/2))] + 1/x
