Headache from retainers? ?

I got my braces off about four days ago, and now wear those plastic clear retainers that cover your teeth. For the most part, they are okay during the day, but I wake up with awful headaches. I'm pretty sure it's because I'm clenching my teeth at night because of the retainers. Is this normal? Will it ever go away? I had a constant headache from rubber bands when I had braces-I don't want to have headaches forever because I wanted nice teeth.

You should ring up and ask your orthodontist this question, if you don't get a logical or satisfactory answer, you should seek a second opinion. Clearly they have adjusted your teeth in a way, that has induced headaches.

i could call your orthodontist. you are able to ask them over the telephone, and clarify the placement, what you think of they could desire to do. they are in a position to offer you the perfect suggestion. it variety of feels no longer likely flossing made it worse. I had/have fastened retainers on correct and backside. according to hazard as quickly as your correct the teeth get lower back to in the previous (in the event that they do--basically being sensible), you are able to desire to get a correct fastened retainer added, for the reason that your the teeth look services to drifting. i could think of that the sparkling retainer, if it nonetheless suits properly adequate, could desire to halt the perfect the teeth isolating.
