What is the best College(s) in Florida ?

FSU and UF are the most popular colleges of Florida, but USF and U of Miami are also common choices.

It all depends on what you're looking for. UF and FSU are the typical colleges, with friday night football games, sororities and fraternities, stuff like that. UF is known for being better academically, but I personally like the atmosphere of FSU better. If you're looking for stereotypical beaches of Florida, don't go to UF and FSU, they feel just like any other state college. U of Miami is the closest to the beach (although you're never more than 60 miles from the beach anywhere in Florida), and from what I've heard is a pretty good school. I wouldn't recommend USF...it's by Tampa, which is a good area, but not really for college students, it's better for families.

In addition to what the guy said above me, New College of Florida is fantastic, and USF and FSU are pretty good schools as well.

id say ucf is definitely moving up on the list fast plus theres so much to do in orlando, a lot of people might say uf or miami but honestly miami is in a bad part of town and theres absolutely nothing to do in Gainesville besides the school.

education wise there all pretty much the same but private schools like stetson and rollins college would be up there
