Shorter periods after having a baby?

I got my first period since having my baby in February on August 26th, it lasted like 3-4 days and was not very heavy. And on October 13th I got my next period, and today is day 3 its almost day 4 and my period is basically done already, and this period hasn't been heavy either, just average flow. Before I got pregnant my periods would usually last 5 or 6 days, with an average flow. I've heard that after having a baby your periods become longer and heavier, but could my periods be shorter and lighter all the time now?

Every woman and pregnancy is different. Mine changed too and my last pregnancy was two years ago and has never been the same since. It's normal. My went from heavy and bled for 8 days to pretty average 5 day period. They could stay light or they can go back to normal. Remember your body is still recovering for child birth and it takes months for it to get back to normal. Hormones are still going crazy, uterus is still stretched and wobbly. It takes a while. I wouldn't worry if i were you.
